I had some issues. Carl was so un validating about Katie’s relationship with her dad. He never once said that he understood that he sucked as a father. I think Katie was a good main character she was strong and I’m glad she didn’t give in and forgive her father so easily. But why didn’t it bother her that Carl would just be like “no he’s a good guy” when she told him horrible things about her childhood.
