honestly could have been 5 stars if the ending was different. the majority of the book took place over the course of like 1 or 2 months, then the end rushed through many months of plot. also felt like everything the FMC wanted was either compromised or thrown out the window, even if it was written as her just changing her mind. the nuances of the plot throughout those 1 or 2 months were great, the ending just fell flat for me.
