Another epic book from Jade West!
I had this book for the longest time just sitting in my library without me reading it, because I actually t thought it was "daddy kink", you know, where the h is calling her lover "Daddy"?
That sort of kink just isn't my cuppa, so I left it.
Buuuuut then I was in need of something saucy....AAAAND we all know Jade West really does deliver there! haha
So I decided to read up on it again, maybe I was wrong and this had nothing to do with a h being into daddy kink.
And I was right. Sugar Daddy is def. NOT that at all. Haha, so now I've learned new things as well, which is fantastic!
I absolutely LOVED this book! I could not put it down! It's raw, it's sexy, it's got strong male and female main characters. The plot of the book is really good. It's a fresh nice read. It's for the most part a very "light" atmosphere, a happy one. But then the real reason to why Carl & Rick really wants Kaitie to stay longer than first agreed - brings out all the feels. I actually cried for Carl and how he felt, his emotions rang really deep. And when Rick told Kaitie about Carl and some of the reasons why he was the way he was - I cried some more.
It's a heartwarming book centred on a polyamorous relationship between two men and one female. It's ups and downs as Kaitie learns that not everything is the way she thought things were, and how she learns that there is def a PLAN B and that's OK to have. <3
The book is sexy and raw and will def. leave your sheets wet! Jade West writes sex like butter on toast there's no doubt about that! <3
I give this book a heartwarming 5*.

Interesting premise, but didn't hold my attention for long. The whole "one of my sugar daddies actually works for the father I hate over miscommunication, and there's also an evil half-sister so that you feel sorry for me" was what did it for me, I guess... I was also not that interested in the FMC. It's yet another book where someone is apparently so special and desirable, yet I can't really understand why... Might try again later, but for now, it's a DNF and 2*

Enjoyed this story overall and liked the dynamic with the 3 MCs. I did not particularly like the circular arguments the FMC had with her father and mother at various times and it was a little unsatisfying to have the FMC be so wrong about her father and sister.

Sugar Daddies blew my expectations out of the water.
I fully expected a load of steamy spice and no plot but there's an ACTUAL plot and it's so good!!! Jade West didn't just make me fall in love with Kate but I also fell in love with Rick and Carl. The relationships as a threesome and coupled off was everything I wanted and not more. I fell in love with every aspect of it.
Kate literally only applied for a Sugar Daddy website because she needed some spare cash to help fund her day-to-day lifestyle and her hobby of riding. She never expected to fall in love with two very different bi men who liked to keep their bedroom activities adventurous. Rick and Carl help Kate navigate her struggles and they become her rocks that she never knew she needed. Jade made me addicted to the story and I wish I could read it all over again for the first time.

Phew can Jade West write a story. Not only are her books freakin hot as anything she has an amazing story to back them up with. I love them and I love her! They are simply amazing!
Sugar Daddies is the story of two guys in a committed, loving relationship who are looking to add a third. To add a girl to their lives. Now this is something that I think is pretty hot, MMF sexy time, but to have a real story with three people in a relationship? Prior to reading this I would have said eh, it probably won't be something I really want to read. But somehow Jade manages to make these characters that you fall in love with, that you believe care so much for each other and it really works. I will admit I went into this book a bit skeptical, but hopeful since I have loved everything else I have read by the author, and I was not let down with the story. It is crazy how good the story is and how normal a threesome relationship was. I loved it.
Carl and Rick are two guys in love. They are both bi and don't have the most traditional of lives. I loved them both. Rick is this artsy free spirit type, laid back and quick to laugh, which Carl comes across as more serious. He can be super intimidating when you first meet him, but he is so kind and caring it is wonderful. They are both so different but you can see how much they care about each other. I loved getting to know them both and what makes them tick.
Katie is a small town girl just trying to get some money together to live her dreams. She doesn't dream really big, just big enough for her and her horse Samson. She has some difficulties with her family and it is not all sunshine and roses, but she is happy enough. To try and finance her dream she signs up for Sugar Daddies and that is where she meets Carl and Rick. Oh this book was fun. Katie was awesome. Right from the start she is drawn to both of them in different ways. I really enjoyed watching the three of them come together. And the sexy time? Oh goodness gracious was that hot. The three of them together? LOVED it. Every minute of it. But it was more than that. It was the story of these people. I feel like I got to know Carl a bit more than Rick, but oh I loved them all. Carl is so sweet and when he cares he would do anything for you. He is always straightforward and doesn't beat around the bush and I loved that about him. Even if he knows it is hard or might hurt in the short term he still does what he thinks is right. Oh my heart broke for him at times. There are lots of ups and downs with this story as you watch all of their relationships evolve and them try and figure everything out, but it was a wonderful ride.
You know from the beginning that Carl has something he wants that has sent all prior girls running. Both he and Rick are hopeful that Katie will be the one for them and I just loved this book to pieces. It was fairly obvious what his secret would be, but it didn't take away from the story. All of the relationships were so well done and with a lesser author might have come off as cheesy, but not here. Katie and her family in particular. She has a lot going on with that, but Carl and Rick are always there for her trying to help make things better. I loved this story. It was hot and sweet and fun and charming and everything I would have wanted in a story. I am so glad Jade wrote this story of a different kind of love. Honestly I don't know of any other stories quite like this one. It was different, but so wonderful and really reinforces that love is love. Love who you want and be happy. Wonderful read.
