Love it!!!
This book is so inviting, invigorating and enticing!!
From the first chapter until the last I was fascinated with Vincent and Sasha story.
I really enjoyed Sasha’s sassiness and her endearing personality. Everyone will definitely fall for Vincent! He’s a smooth talking, possessive and dirty all around alpha male.
I really liked the family dynamics of this book as much as the romantic aspects.
Vincent and Sasha are highly engaging, alluring and interesting characters with a deeply intense, passion and gripping storyline.
A remarkable story with stunning characters!!
S.J this book is OUTSTANDING

Pretty spicy. I love SJ Tilly books. I really liked the fmc and how she was strong willed and sassy to the mmc. Of course I love the mmc and his protectiveness. I don’t really love single parent books but this one wasn’t too bad. Will read the rest of the series.

3.5⭐️
- Takes place in Minnesota. Lol.
- Strong independent FMC who is mainly focused on her job and cat.
- Overprotective and trauma filled MMC who is filthy rich.
- One night stand in vegas with what would be the boss/client. Surprise!
- Parental loss
- Single dad
- Mafia adjacent.
- Definitely some 🌶️. Not overly gratuitous, but many scenes involve the office.
- Suspense and drama with kidnapping and stalking.
- Some of my favorite and most heartwarming scenes were with Sasha and Annie. Spunky and extremely perceptive girl who spoke her mind at 11 years old. I think I cried during one conversation.
- Skipped ahead to see what the other two books are about, hoping to see
that the next one would be Eric and Jessica. But not the case. Booo > - Really did not like either narrator at first. The female one started to grow on me, and I was fine by the end. The male, sounded very AI for a big chunk of book. I think it was his attempt at an alpha male, but felt more robotic. The story got me hooked and the voices were fine enough to not stop me from finishing.
- I would like to see this series through and learn more about Alfonso and John.
This guy has zero redeeming qualities. And I laughed out loud when he said he was happy his daughter had another strong female to look up to in the fmc. Sasha is a giant doormat who is treated horribly by Vincent just about every five pages, cries and says she feels “used and helpless”, and then he grabs her by the arm and she drops her panties. Jesus, Sasha, have grow a backbone.
In the first three chapters we are told that Vincent is progressive and believes women should be treated right and then the entire book he just uses Sasha like a semen receptacle. The guy grew up with a single mother and has a young daughter and he treats women like shit. And then you find out he really hasn’t had any relationships in her life, just a revolving door of other semen receptacles. Swoon.
This one isn’t for me. I don’t really do mafia but I’ve enjoyed other books from this author so I gave it a try. But honestly Vincent is the W O R S T and I spent most of the book wanting to shake Sasha for having so littler self respect.
