I love a good psychological thriller with twists and turns and an unexpected ending. So in this book, both the woman and the man in the relationship are caught in lies. They lie to protect, they lie to get something in return. Little lies, big lies. They lied so much that it is impossible to untangle who is telling the truth. Their little girl was a miracle - conceived after 10 years of trying. But even that starts to be questioned when the truth starts to unfold.

I really enjoyed this one. I think this is the 3rd I have read from here and they have all been captivating and hard! Adele Parks faces some tough realities, so trigger warnings may be in order.
