Heaven Is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back

WOW! This is a very thought provoking book. A little boy gets very sick and then once he is well, he starts to tell his family about sitting on Jesus' lap and being in Heaven. I would recommend this to people who are wondering about Heaven.
Had a hard time reading this because I’m not religious at all. My boyfriends parents decided to lend me their copy because they know I enjoy reading. It was a cute miracle story and a very quick read. I do enjoy reading about religion and learning about what others might believe in. Combined with short chapters, interviews, and inserts of pictures, this was easy to cruise through in an hour and a bit. It was nice of them to think of me but this isn’t one id particularly recommend.
This is a good story but it is just too slow for me.

It has been a very long time since I read such a touching, evocative book. I got chills, I cried, and I loved every word. This is not so much a book about religion as it is about faith, courage and strength. Highly recommend.
With absolutely nothing against anyone with the last name of Burpo, I'd like to think it was the author's last name that caught my attention. I was bored for a few days, picked up this little beauty, ended up skipping through until I found the interesting parts... After finding all 3 of them, I let it sit in my Kindle until I realized it's wasting space. And considering my Kindle isn't even close to full, the fact that I deleted it today should tell you something. It's not really entertaining, the boy did have a neat experience, but the real nitty-gritty could have fit into a tri-fold pamphlet. I'm just glad I found it on discount.

Did not find this very believable or compelling. Very strong feelings, apparently.

An interesting account of a family's and little boy's experiences. Food for thought for those who contemplate the existence of an afterlife.
My husband and I both read this book very quickly. It's definitely an eye-opener. It makes you really start to wonder how accurate the Christian view really is. If this four year old can tell you exactly what he saw and be so precise with it, it's hard to doubt the brutal honesty his age alon ebrings to the table. It was a very moving book. I would recommend to all.
