A fun, fast read. The dueling perspectives were fun to piece together. I loved the theme of friendship so strongly woven throughout the story. Really enjoyed this and looking forward to other reads by Abby Jimenez.

That was actually perfect. Maddy came off as controlling and pushy at first and I thought she was a terrible friend. It turns out she was the best best-friend Emma could ever have, a true sister. Maddy was her Person, always there with Emma through thick and thin. This was almost more beautiful than the story with Emma and Justin.

I loved that they all got their happy ending. Maddy could finally settle down and Emma went home. It’s funny how many strings tied all the characters together, like everyone ended up where they were meant to be. I loved that we got a happily ever after with realistic changes and not just glazing over issues to make it a neat ending. It was perfect.

Edit: I didn’t realize I started with the third book in the series. Luckily I have more to read from this author😅
