I gave this book three stars, but it really should have been 2.5... Kingsolver wanted to push her opinions here and I really wanted to hear from Nathan, the father. I didn't like many of the characters and some were written for us to dislike - I get that. I also wanted to hear from Orleanna after she returned to the states, we had her opinion through half of the book, then it just ended. I wanted more for all the time I invested in reading. Fell flat against the expectations I had.
