I tried to read this 10 years ago when I was wild about all the author’s other work but just couldn’t get into it. This time I couldn’t put it down, I think because motherhood is one of the major themes and I wasn’t a mom the first time around. Anyway, it was moving, well written and often funny. Highly recommended.
