Reread: I love it here. More Cooper and Park, pleeeeease.
-------
This series is excellent and addicting!
Couples retreat gone haywire, I love stories with the couple going "undercover" to the silly retreat only to have their worlds rocked with the truth and communication that happens while there.

“We might have taken the wrong turn.” Park checked his phone map. “Still no service. What do you think? Would Kyle and Andrew venture out and ask directions?”
“I don’t know, are Kyle and Andrew auditioning for victims one and two in a horror movie?”
Park stifled a smile. “Kyle would.” He patted the steering wheel. “Andrew needs to keep the car running and getaway ready. For reasons.”
“I hate Andrew.”

Charlie Adhara has blown my mind yet again and I don't know how to deal with that fact. Especially the fact that I need to wait until 2021 for the next book.
I can't decide if this is my favorite book of the series because it seems to me that the series only gets better in each books. The Wolf at Bay, of course, always has a special place in my heart but this book is so perfect in every way--I just can't decide. It has the correct amount of humor and quiet contemplation. The romance, the mystery, the plot, the world-building! Everything is mixed with perfect dose and I'm just labdjdbfjrjdbdnjd!!!!
Wolf in Sheep's Clothing begins with a scene where Cooper and Oliver go house hunting (which is hilarious) and then being called for a favor from a mutual acquaintance of Oliver's past to take up an undercover case in a werewolf-couple retreat in the middle of the woods out of nowhere. So basically someone called the BSI reporting something then the reporter suddenly disappeared and the boys need to investigate the disappearance.
Everything starts slowly, like all the other previous books, before it picks up the pace in the middle of the book and suddenly you're at the edge of your seat biting your nails like crazy because you don't know WHO DID IT and WHAT WAS HAPPENING and basically everything turns into a total mayhem. I'd made several guesses and only one of them was right. I sure as hell wasn't right in guessing who'd done it. Like previous books, the action and the suspense aspect of this book are driving me nuts--but a good kind of nut driving.
Anyway, it is full of twists and turns, plus a lot of tender moments and hilarity. What's not to love? Cooper and Oliver learn more about each other and what I love the most about Charlie Adhara books is the fact that the characters communicate and work through their differences. They make it work, even when it's hard. I love that. I WANT that.
The steam is off the charts and this is coming from someone who always falls asleep during sex scenes in books. I stayed awake gobbling this book all day and night. My favorite part would be the praise kink Oliver has heheheheheeh that is both hot and endearing.
The only downside of this book is waiting for the next book to come out. But hey, I'd do anything for Charlie Adhara.

Really enjoyable update to the series! This author does a great job of maintaining the interest/tension with an established couple without resorting to unnecessary/forced drama, or relying on just rehashing the exact same issue over and over again with a slightly different slant. Interesting case, and great relationship development. Definitely curious to see where the next book takes us!
there is simply no better backdrop to two individuals in the process of learning how to fully integrate their lives together than going undercover at a couples therapy retreat. whatever could go wrong?

Loved it. Loved the plot, loved Cooper's growth, loved Oliver and Cooper growing together, loved all the emotions and care and worry.
“i’m filthy,” cooper murmured in protest.
“i realized that the first week I met you,” park said
BRO I WOULD DIE FOR THESE DORKS
I’m a little concerned that this series peaked for me at Book 2
*Happy sigh*
This is my favorite one in the series.
Cooper and Oliver become seriously swoon-worthy!
Also I've been thinking Cooper needs some therapy and was happy to see that happening here even if it isn't in the most honest circumstances.
Can't wait for book 5 ^_^
