This one had some plot twists I didn't see coming, which is always appreciated. I am not only staying for the murder mystery and werewolf politics though, what really pulls me in is watching Cooper and Park interact and developing their relationship. How they've got each other's backs, the love and devotion, the vulnerability and the acceptance. We also finally get to see Park properly in his furry form, that was heartwarming, at least when he and Cooper were alone.

Every time I finish a book of this series I hurry to start the next one because I want to spend more time in Cooper's and Park's lives. Now I'm doing that for the last time and I'm already starting to feel the loss, even though there is one book left.

This one gets:

This book lacked something. The mystery was fine, but the relationship between the two main characters is getting a little boring…there’s nearly no conflict, the only conflict inserted is very bland and resolves within a page. Not sure what the last book will be about but I’m skeptical that this series will end on a positive note…

Another 4.5 and I'm beginning to think it will be a constant throughout the series.

Park and Cooper now have to go undercover - meet Kyle and Andrew - to find a missing wolf that was part of Park's regretable past. The best timing, because Cooper can't seem to want to deal with their issues back home, like buying a house together.

The things is, this is a couple's retreat, full of counseling therapy and - cof cof - massages, and what with our besties' relationship still in shaky ground, some epiphanies are to be expected. Also, why are all the employees so darn sketchy?

Park and Cooper are probably on my top ten best MC's to read about, and the guilty one is the plot! the sex! the tension!

I'm already mourning that the next one will be the last, but I can't wait to know what lies ahead these two doofus who were so made for each other.

Honest to god, this might be my favorite book of the series thus far.. I love Cooper and Oliver SO MUCH. I also love that this particular book shows them fully committed but also takes them to their investigatory roots. I love seeing them work through more of their issues together too. Wonderful book :)

Cooper and Oliver go undercover when a former alpha werewolf goes missing. The location is a retreat for counseling werewolf couples. The bodies keep turning up, but the counseling may be exactly what Cooper needs.

4.5/5 stars

I love you these emotional constipated fools in love.
