The story has a strong opening and for a majority of its pages was pretty decent at capturing my attention and interest. Even the smut is pretty expertly written, which often just isn’t the case and so was a great refresher. Sadly, and this is just a highly personal opinion, the ending dropped the ball so utterly that I lost all enjoyment that had built up throughout reading this book.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one was simply okay. I liked the characters and story, but the pacing was very annoying. A hundred pages of essentially nothing then everything crammed into the last seventy pages
I've loved this series from its conception. Each and every book gets better, the characters go through so much and the themes become darker and darker. I absolutely love the beauty in this book.
