This is definitely my favorite Stephanie book to date! It has more of what I love: Morelli, Ranger, Grandma Mazur, and Lula. Plus it added 2 stoners and Bob the dog.
Sometimes I want to kick Stephanie for being such a goober during her attempts at bringing in her FTAs...but they still crack me up. You can't help but laugh when Stephanie and Lula get attacked by Trekkies [stoners' friends]. My favorite is Bob the dog, who Stephanie was just going to dogsit, but ends up keeping. Grandma Mazur moves in with Stephanie for a while and tries to become a bounty hunter. Most of all, the love triangle keeps on going. At this point, I'm not sure who I like more. In book 5, I was Team Morelli, but now I'm not so sure :)

Okay, this particular outing by Janet Evanovich was in some days fairly ho-hum (not bad but fairly representative of the series), until we come to Revenge of Bob the Dog. Egads can that woman write funny stuff. It's worth reading just for Bob.
This series seriously has me laughing out loud at times. Grandma is still my favorite but there are so many characters I just love. My only complaint is we get a whole lot of teasing and not much loving. I have a soft spot for Joe and would love to see more action with him and Stephanie. I am hoping for more of that in the next few books.
Loved adding Bob to the family. The poop scenes were the best. :)

Damnit, Janet Evanovich! I just want to read the next one but nooo I only brought 3 books to Colorado and this was my last one. The relationship between Stephanie and Morelli is getting intense, but I kind of want her to finally bang Ranger too. Decisions, decisions. I love all the plot twists and stupid crap she gets herself into... hilarious and sketchy. Can't wait to read the next one!
This is more a 3.5. Mooner and Bob might be my new fave side characters. Stephanie was slightly less annoying this time.
Book Six in the Stephanie Plum series. I still very amused by this series. This time her bond apprehension target is her coworker/mentor, Ranger, who quite honestly is more dangerous tied up and blindfolded than Stephanie is fully armed. She ends up feeding information to both Ranger and her on and off boyfriend, Joe Morelli. For added fun and games, Grandma Mazur gets fed up living with Stephanie's parents and decides to move into Stephanie's apartment. To make matters even more amusing as a favor, she gets stuck with a police officer friend's very large dog. At least the dog is helpful on stake-out...and destroying other people's cars. The car count for this book: four. Favorite moments: flaming dog poop takes out a car and Joyce Barnhardt tied to a tree.
This was a wonderful addition to the series and Grandma Mazur and Lula never fail to make my stomach hurt from laughing. Joe Morelli gives me headaches. HEADACHES!
