4.5⭐️🌶🌶 I love this series!!! I have loved everything of Clare's I have read so far! The slow burn is torturous but in the best way! Excited to see how it all wraps up!!

The first two novels in this series are fantastic. High energy, one-point dialog, character growth, etc.

This one starts to lose steam about 25% in.

Yes, there's still growth in Vice, and in Knigh as they struggle with their demons and faults.

But the story sort of flat-lined a bit. If I start skimming and reading only the dialog, it's never a good sign.

Hopefully with that ending, the story finds itself and is redeemed in book 4.
