I fear I’ve lost the plot in this one. I was honestly a little bored reading it, this didn’t feel like a conclusion to the story I was reading this whole time.

It was dragging, it felt repetitive and not gonna lie still confused about the whole vessel magic. I felt like dacre and verenas relationship felt stagnant even with the marriage, mate thing.

I guess I was just expecting more and with series if the new elements added and conclusions aren’t engaging I fight to get to the end.

I didn’t feel sad by the time it was the final battle, I was just done.

The pacing was off with this one. I wish we got more of a backstory about the vessel.

I thought this book was great all things considered. I’ll agree with the majority when they say the whole “my mate” thing got a bit much. There were some points in this book that I skimmed more than read, but I also think that has to do with my ADHD so do with that info what you will. The finale, while rushed was still good imo, would I have enjoyed it being more in depth? Sure! But i dont think that takes away from everything that was set up. I was sucked into the plot and into the characters and I left still loving the main characters, and being happy with the ending, what more could you ask for?
