Oh my GOSH!!! I could just go on and on about how good this book/series is but that would be too much. I can't say too much but WOW at the betrayal, it was a shocker. I also just adore the grandmother, she is amazing. There was some truly sweet adorable moments and then some very spicy ones too. Little traitor has never been such a compliment. Must read series π―

Dacre has owned my heart since The Hunted Heir, and seeing his devotion and growth in this book made me love him even more.
Holly Renee gave us everything β tension, loyalty, spice, heartbreak, and an epic romance that felt so earned.
This finale was emotional, fast-paced, and utterly satisfying. Iβll be thinking about Dacre and Verena for a long time!

I donβt think I can finish this one. I took a pause because I was so bored bad itβs been way too long. I donβt even care to find out how it ends. So much filler it feels like nothing is even happening.
Update: I finally finished by reading the dialogue only. This was rough. Had potential to be so much better but fell short in so many ways. As others have said, the heavy backstory presented in this book wouldβve been better intertwined throughout all three books. The characters lacked depth. It was repetitive. Unfortunate, because I enjoyed the first book of the series greatly, but the other two got worse and worse.
Initial: I have 40 pages left and I canβt finish. Book one of this series was interesting. Books two and three are not worth your time.

First book was good and then it was all down hill from there. Think I'll skip this author from now on. I like her first books and then can't stand the rest.
