I’m struggling to understand why people thought this was so bad, like I really was preparing for the worst. The book was probably like 85% romance and 15% plot which was slightly annoying but the ending was pretty satisfying? The build up to the end did take awhile just for it to be pretty anticlimactic but I really found no qualms with it. The magic system was a little bit confusing, the repetitive use of “mate” and “i could feel him [magic] inside me” was a little cringe but it didn’t take away from the story *too* much.
