Meanwhile, Sophie has recently ended her engagement to TV producer, Paul, and has only recently realized that she is bisexual.

This was a cute little romance, but my favorite part was Sophie’s growth in confidence as she embraced a part of herself that had been hiding within her for the past 30 years.

𝙄 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙚.

But my favorite scene was probably when she came out to her mom. It was so sweet, and just so “mom”. 😂

If you enjoy contemporary romances, especially “kitchen romances” (is that a thing?) I’m sure you would enjoy this one. Sweet without too many high stakes. A perfect little palate cleanser to read between heavier reads.

I love to see more bi representation in romance novels. This was sweet and fun and too short! I wish we got to see more of their story through the tv show and after.

Nice Romance! I enjoyed the story and the characters. This book contained some heat. Relatable characters. I liked the food references and the way the author explored the effect of being on a tv competition and how it impacts a persons life even years after the show is over.

La discusión del tercer acto es horrible, ya de entrada es un tropo que no me gusta, pero cuando encima es absurda y se nota que solo está ahí para meter el tropo porque sí, sin aportar nada a la historia, me frustra mucho.
Las protagonistas son bastante planas y predecibles (el libro tiene dos puntos de vista y a menudo me costaba recordar cuál estaba leyendo porque se expresan exactamente igual).
Intenta tocar algunos temas importantes, pero lo hace de forma tan superficial que, en lugar de añadir profundidad a la historia, se la restan.
Para mi gusto, las escenas de sexo son excesivas, tanto en cantidad como en forma.
La relación va rapidísimo y están enamoradas en lo que parecen dos segundos. Actúan como adolescentes y no como adultas funcionales.
¿Dónde está la premisa de la sinopsis? Da a entender que habrá un reality de cocina, pero nunca llegamos a ver dicho reality

y luego en el epílogo ya ha pasado xD
