The more I read this book, the more I enjoy it. Its themes and expressions are thoroughly modern in spite of its historical setting. I chuckled so much and was particularly struck on this re-read on how well drawn the characters are. They are all flawed. Not even Jane is perfect. Austen must like them to give them happy endings.
