There were parts that were fun to read, but most of it was a vampire's story about how much he missed his human life. I wanted to know more about the other characters and have more interactions or dialog from their viewpoints.

Anne Rice, queen of the Vampire novels, definitely did not let me down with the first book of her Vampire Chronicles. I've never seen the movie adaption of this book and heard it was one of the films everyone must watch. I decided to read the book first and I was pleasantly surprised.
Being surrounded by mediocre fantasy books like the Twilight Series, The Interview with the Vampire was definitely a nice break from terrible writing to something that deserves it's popularity.

I started off intrigued, but, ultimately, there weren't enough answers for me within the constant internal struggle for belonging.
