Easy breezy spy romance read, this was very much up my alley and had a good blend of mystery/spying and romance. The audiobook was great too, the narrator really built up the suspense during certain scenes. Yes, it was insta-lovey, but I think everything else made up for that.

The storyline was super fun, and I'm glad that it's going to continue in the next book. Stoked that it's Chan's chance to shine now!! Also, can we appreciate that cover for a sec? I love it.

P. S. Book two is out on my birthday soooo I feel like I was predestined to love this series.

I thought this was a pretty good spy romance (closed door) but the main character and her negative self-talk got to be grating after so much of it.

Is this book incredibly cheesy?  Yes.  Yes, it is.  But luckily, I love cheesy Spy stories.
This was really just a fun, fast-paced read.  And I really enjoyed it.
