Kanan was low-key a bit of an Elan Sleazebaggano when he first met Hera
oh you know. It was fine. I was more interested in Kanaan's early, post-Jedi period. I could with done from more of Hera too.

So, so, Bleh. I had high hopes for this, especially after reading Tarkin, and it was nothing but boring. I contemplated putting it away and but finishing it, but couldn't bring myself to do it. It only got two stars from me because it made me want to go back and watch the Rebels cartoon. Other than that, avoid this one and read Tarkin instead.
Having never watched "Star Wars: Rebels," I was hesitant to give this book a read. After getting to know Kanan through the excellent [b:Star Wars: Kanan, Vol. 1: The Last Padawan|25066765|Star Wars Kanan, Vol. 1 The Last Padawan|Greg Weisman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1436649492s/25066765.jpg|44751527], I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did, because it's a rollicking adventure from the as-yet little explored time between Episodes III and IV.
Entretenido aunque no es una maravilla como otros de los que he leído.

Star Wars rebels is my fav Star Wars show and seeing how Kanen and Hera met is so cool. Seeing into Kanen’s mindset as a young adult was soo interesting. The plot was soo good too. I love the commentaries and stories that can be told in the era of the empire and the building rebellion. The side characters and villain are great too.
This is more of a 3.5/5 but I love Kanan and Hera so much. It was nice seeing how they came together and the reluctant start of Kanan's involvement. I needed like 5% more Jedi reference in the last half of the book. Very nice to visit a new planet/moon though.
It was super cool watching Kanin and Hera's beginning
