this was the first book i read on my kobo libra color. it was quite surprising to me. people online talk about this as if it’s a romantic fantasy but it’s a fantasy with a romance subplot. i came for the sapphic romance and stayed for the politics lol. i liked all the twists and turns throughout the story. i am really rooting for crier and ayla to get together in the next book, which surprisingly i am planning on reading. (i don’t usually like series but this one is so good i am committing to reading the next book) i also really loved that it’s quite unique. usually its humans against ai but in this its the other way around and the ai are in charge. i thought that was really fun and interesting. i love that they’re made with magic so it leans more fantasy than sci-fi. i found this book overall just really intriguing and fun to read.
