Satisfying Climax to the Apocalypse
Loved it, but then I knew I would. Jim Butcher never disappoints and manages to put so much good emotion into his storytelling.

The bills up of the previous book means that this one his the ground running with handle a chance to stop.
This is so good. But I can't really say why it's good without spoiling anything, so much happens, so many good people are hurt, so many things change for the future.
Waldo is great. Murphy is great. Molly is great. Even Mab is great.
And of course Harry is great.
There are so many things that are so cool.
And yet, I'm also kind of devastated by the events.
This whole book is a war. A war that even now, I'm not sure Harry and the White Council can win. The ending isn't quite as harsh as the one before Ghost Story, but there are terrible things coming. And I can't wait for the world to go to hell.

Liked the book well enough, but this did not feel like a Dresden Files novel to me until after the climactic battle. If I want a continuous battle scene book there are plenty by Ringo or Flint on my shelves. The core of the book was not what I read Dresden for. That said, the beginning, end, and short story afterward were good. 3.25 out of 5.0 - it was a 3.0 but the included short story elevated it.
