There’s something about childhood friends to lovers that will always do it for me because I feel so sad that I am never going to marry my nonexistent lifelong childhood best friend that has been in love with me for years. I loved the chemistry between these two characters and the fact that he did so much to show how obsessed he is with her. I do wish the book showed more of what their relationship was like in the beginning of their friendship as young kids, and highschoolers. I also wish there was a bit more tension when they reconnect, they immediately fell back into love so I was craving more ST
Solid hockey romance. I was gonna love this unless it was terrible, fake-dating, tons of history, cocky MMC, dogs. Really enjoyed this one, great story of healing and family. And exceedingly hot hockey players

This was my first Hannah Cowan book and it was fantastic! No disappointment here!
This book follows Maddox and Braxton. These two grew up together and loved each other so much throughout their entire childhood. Their lives separate once Maddox’s NHL career takes off and Braxton starts college. But if it’s meant to be it will be….
The love between these two is so dang strong! It had me swooning the entire book. It also had me so frustrated I was screaming of kicking my feet yelling at the two of them. There are no words for the relationship between these two.

no because this book was so cute and it didn't have to be! like it had be kicking my feet in the air and giggling! its the way he fell for her, its the way he SAVED HIMSELF FOR HER!!!! he said "its ALWAYS been you." this man couldn't even pretend to hate her like wow! the only shocking and unrealistic thing about it was the fact that ottawa won the Stanley cup, if only.
