A great childhood friends to lovers story. “It's always been you” vibes.
Loveable, cute and I need the next one
This story was so good. Friends to lovers with second chance thrown in there... bith character were great to read from and neither was annoying to read from. The plus size rep was done subtly and well. I loved both sode of their families aspects of the novel as well. And I can't wait to read the next installment in the series.

I really thought we were going to get an answer of the the person who pushed her and broke into her car.... and I had the suspicion it was Noah. A twenty something, male, outside a casino. The way it was staged... and she didn't even check her cameras like she said she would, and the whole situation is skirted over and mentioned a few more times but nothing concrete about it.... but I think it was Noah. He doesn't like her, he has problems as we know, he fits the description and he was gone to visit his friend came back with it not being mentioned and then out of nowhere he's moving ?..... hmm suspicious.
But iver all great read.

I really enjoyed this book. It checked so many of my fav trope boxes - Hockey romance, Fake dating, Second chance, “it’s always been you”
Plus so many bonus points for a curvy FMC, OTT MMC, some light spanking and a secret tattoo - it’s was almost a guarantee that I would love it
If you’re needing a sweet palate cleanser with low miscommunication, good plot and some great spice, this was perfect

I chose this book only because the FMC of this book is plus size, I wanted a book to relate and a book of assurance ig. And this book was just so perfect!

Sports romance has been a surprise love of mine and finding a good well written one that focuses on the sport with additional plot is hard to find.
This is a slow burn second chance, friends to enemies to lovers, with the darn cutest story.
It’s dual POV but flicks to the past.

This book was pretty good! I’m surprised by the fact that I like it so much. I’m not a fan of sports themed romance. Braxton’s inner monologue about her perception of her weight is realistic and relatable without being terribly problematic. Plus, we love a thicc queen!
The nickname he has for her is a lil ick but I’m just glad this isn’t a bully hockey romance.
The bad guys are clearly bad and the good guys have a little more dimension than just being good. I wish the bad guy had some redeeming quality just to add that little oomph to it. Braxton’s mom didn’t have any backbone which was just disappointing. All in all it was okay. The last 20% was pretty good and thats why I added that last .5 of a star. I can’t say I’ll be continuing the series.
