This was a cute lovers to strangers to lovers…again romance. It was also a miscommunication trope with a little bit of groveling.
It was a good book. I loved each of the characters.
Braxton - the vet who owns a shelter and cares for every one of the animals she looks after. The quiet but outspoken girly with daddy issues.
Maddox - the hockey star, who is deeply and madly in love with his childhood best friend. And the man who cannot hold grudges against her.
I would definitely recommend this book. I loved the twists and turns in the plot.
