Fun read! I love that the FMC was a veterinarian and there was a (very) small subplot about shelter dogs. I thought the story was well written and definitely enjoyed this read! I’ll be honest, I read the first couple of chapters over a year ago and didn’t finish. I picked it back up yesterday just because, and I finished it today. I blame mood reading for not finishing it the first time I picked it up!

Well honestly this was a pretty cute book. It felt both slow and extremely fast paced. In terms of pages, it was slow, but in terms of timeline, it was real freaking fast. Which I guess kind of makes sense with the two main characters, especially with their past history. But I’m not sure, I felt like the conflict (if you can call it that) didn’t last long; yes it might’ve been 8 years, but in the actual timeline of the book, it didn’t.
Overall, this book was pretty cute, and enjoyable. I read it pretty quickly. It was nice seeing all the 1st gen characters again; I missed them.
I loved how utterly obsessed they were for each other.
I am in no way speaking negatively on this author (or the book), I’ve read all her work, and will continue to as long as she releases more.

Meh. Just not interesting enough to keep my attention or to try. Audio book was so cringey too and I couldn't stand listening to it. Story was just predictable with nothing special about it.
