This has all the makings of a book I'd love. Nerdy librarian turned bookstore owner moves to quaint small town and falls in love with gruff local with a heart of gold.

I enjoyed the characters and the plot very much including the red herrings but I think there needed to be a little more behind the central romance. It went from ice cold to red hot with almost nothing in between and even the bit of drama that tried to insert itself in the end blew by too quickly to worry about.

I'm judging harshly here, I think, because I feel like I should have loved this book instead of just finding it OK.

Another minor nitpick - the title really doesn't make sense once you've read the book.

Just finished listening to this quaint story. Perfect for the end of the day drive home. Loved the characters and the mobile bookshop! Kept wanting to escape to Scotland and take up Nina's life!

I bought this book secondhand and didn’t have very high expectations other than wanting something light-hearted, fun and cosy, and The Little Shop of Happily Ever After was just that. Set in Scotland (how could you go wrong with that), Nina tries to fit into the small town while opening a mobile bookstore (again, cannot go wrong with this)! This book was very cute and a quick read.

Cute, lighthearted, slightly romantic read for a book lover. Made me want to move to rural Scotland.

DNF. Read half, got bored, moved on.

Light and enjoyable read. Books, animals, handsome men, smart women. What’s not to love?

This was just a sweet little read about a bookstore. It really is like a love letter to bookstores and those who take the time to help us find the books we'll love. I liked Nina's journey to find her passions and how that centered her love of books. Just a nice book all-around.
