ARC Review;

I had the absolute honor to receive this as my first ARC, and I have to say, Jessica did NOT disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I giggled, I blushed, my heart throbbed, and so much more.

Lux is one of the world's most renowned socialites and probably the richest too. She has more money than anyone could ever dream of, but she's got the weight of the world on her shoulders. As you get to know Lux more and more throughout the book, you really can't help but feel for the gal.  With having an absentee father (for the most part), emotionally unavailable mother, the constant drag of keeping up with her reputation, and very crappy ex; she's built walls higher than The Millau Viaduct. Although she's been through it, she's still extremely humble, unapologetically herself, and deeply layered. I love her for it.

Slate, on the other hand, doesn't have many riches or fame. He comes from the crappier side of town and has to work for what he has while doing anything to take care of his sick sister, including some morally grey ways. He's a heavily tattooed mechanic, biker boy, who's rough and tough around the edges but is oh so soft on the inside. Slate would go to extreme lengths to make those closest to him happy. Who doesn't love a bad boy with a soft spot?

Slate and Lux are not your typical duo, complete opposites if you will, but doesn't that make it all the more interesting? How they meet and come to work together is an amazing part of the story that is so so so addicting. Together they ignite something so fierce, raw, messy, humane, and deeply passionate with each other that is so strong, you can feel it.
If you like enemies to lovers, slow burn, grumpy x snarky, touch her and die vibes, then THIS is the book for you. The plot twist and turns had me on the edge of my seat. And the way it was revealed?? Top tier.

Their chemistry? Off the charts
The bantering? *chef's kiss*
The spice??? Excuse me while I go giggle, kick my feet, and scream

"You're going to regret every second you weren't in my arms"
"I already do,"
"You're going to never want to leave them again"
"I already don't"
"You're going to be mine by the end of the night"
"I already am"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Oh, and let's not forget,

"Why should I?" "Because I don't want to live in a universe where you aren't mine"

Thank you so much Jessica Jude for the ARC of this book!

High class socialite with a knack for revenge makes a deal with bad boy outsider. This Gossip Girl-esque romance provided the perfect amount of drama, romance, and tension.

Some elements of the story were not my personal cup of tea but overall vibes were still immensely enjoyable and had me staying up late just to finish the book.

Okay, it all began with a stolen parking space. No, it really did. Let's just say that I didn't like Lux at first; she appeared arrogant and looked down on others. Slate, on the other hand, embodied the bad guy persona. Greasy mechanic who rides a bike, I adore it. The more you discover about Lux, the more you realize she is merely a shell attempting to make it in her environment. Slate forms a bargain with her that might benefit them both, but emotions get in the way. When a hidden identity is uncovered, your heart breaks.
Thank you, Jessica Jude, for supplying me with an early copy of the book.

I had the opportunity to read this ARC. Without spoilers, I can say it was an emotional roller coaster for me. It's definitely worth reading!

I absolutely loved this book; I finished it in one sitting! This was a super fun read - very gossip girl coded with an edgy twist. Lux and Slate’s banter was top-notch and you could really feel their undeniable chemistry. Did they both do some petty shit? Yeah. Lie about some stuff? You betcha. But they really learned a lot not just about each other but themselves through their forced partnership and that blossomed into something that was just fucking beautiful to witness. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I felt all the things! I’d love to hear more about how their story unfolds, but the end also tees it up very nicely for book 3 to focus on another couple 😏

Infinitely grateful to Jessica Jude for entrusting me with an advanced copy of this wonderful story 🖤

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC copy of Queen of Vengeance, and I want to extend my thanks to Jessica Jude for the opportunity to review this book. This is the second installment in the series, following Ace of Betrayal, but you don’t need to read the first book to grasp the storyline.

At first, I struggled to connect with the book—Lux came across as overly pretentious, and Slate felt a bit underwhelming. However, this is precisely why you shouldn’t judge characters too quickly. As the story unfolds, their depth becomes more apparent, and the character development truly shines. Before I knew it, I was completely hooked! The emotional highs and lows, along with well-crafted side characters, kept me invested. And let’s not forget the plot twist—I never saw it coming!

In the end, I’d highly recommend Queen of Vengeance to anyone looking for a richly built world, compelling characters, and a well-executed enemies-to-lovers dynamic.

I received an ARC copy of this and here's my take.
Good banter, low-medium spice, surprisingly consistent plot, but a bit of inconsistency in character arcs - especially for the MMC. So inconsistent that his growth might qualify the book for a fantasy read instead 😁
Won't change your world, but definitely a good summer read.

I will admit not the type of book I would normally read(I prefer psychological thrillers but need a break from them every once in a while) but thought I'd give it a chance.

I am incredibly grateful to Jessica Jude for allowing me to be an ARC reader for her.

This book will make you laugh, cry, be angry - all the emotions.

The relationship developing between the main characters is very real very raw. It shows that two people from very different worlds can have a lot in common even if they do not realise this at first.

I thought I wouldn't be a fan of the main female character but I love her. She is one of those characters that shows not everything is perfect and polished even if it looks like it is.

I am really looking forward to book 3 and hopefully more in this series as I do believe every single of them in the friend group deserve a happy ending.

Again, thank you so much Jessica Jude. I will be ordering this book on payday.
