Dnf @ 35%, listened to audio book, the narrators were fine just didn’t feel the connection between the characters.

i have NEVER felt more seen by a character than i felt by wes in swift and saddled. theres this one quote in specific that wes says where he's talking about how recovery is hard and it RESONATED with me on another level. i literally had to talk to my therapist about it because how hard it hit me

Second half of the story really picked up but I did find the overall book quite slow despite it being just about 300 pages. I found the plot to be lacking some substance, can’t put my finger on it but something was just missing. I also didn’t 
connect with Ada as a character, it really, REALLY annoyed me when instead of just TALKING about her feelings she turned around and started saying silly stuff. I find it difficult to vibe with the cold hearted, I have no girl friends but that’s fine by me characters. However, I LOVED Wes 🤠🤠🤠🤠 and I cannot wait to book 3 which is Gus and Teddy’s story eeeekkkkk 🐎🤠🔥💖
