This was just beautiful, and I couldn't put it down. I don't know what else there is to say, honestly.

I loved the hint of tension we saw between Kit and Noah in [b:Rock Addiction|22839846|Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss, #1)|Nalini Singh|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1408109387s/22839846.jpg|42396239], and I'll admit I was surprised when Nalini Singh decided to veer away from the band to focus on Charlie's story in [b:Rock Hard|23514316|Rock Hard (Rock Kiss, #2)|Nalini Singh|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1423588812s/23514316.jpg|43117391](I wanted to read Charlie's story, I just didn't think it would be the second full-length novel in the series is all). I was happy when I heard that we would finally find out what happened between Noah and Kit.

Turns out, Noah and Kit were really good friends, with really great chemistry. Noah would never let things go too far between them always finding ways to push Kit away when it seemed like they were. With Noah being known to never having a problem getting women into his bed, it's pretty easy to figure out how he pushes Kit away. At that point she'd had enough and even though she was still friends with the rest of the band, she was determined to get over her feelings for Noah.

But when Noah calls Kit one night literally on the verge of doing something potentially fatal, Kit can't turn her back on him.

Noah is definitely fighting some tough demons. But I loved the relationship between him and Kit. It's rather sweet, I liked that they have an established friendship prior to the series starting even though they are going through a rough spot when the story begins. I guess you could say this was a friends-to-lovers storyline. I think the rebuilding of trust and friendship between the two took precedence over the romantic elements in the story. It was a slow-burn kind of romance.

I feel like with each book, the issues that our hero / heroine have to work through are getting tougher and tougher. Honestly, Charlie's past rather surprised me and while it didn't take too much thought to discern what about Noah's past haunts him, the slow build up until we actually learn all the details is rough at times. Based on events in Rock Redemption, I assume this trend will continue on in Abe's book whenever that might be.

Overall, this is another good one from Nalini Singh. She doesn't disappoint.

This gets 3 stars because I finished it, and because it tackled the subject of child abuse, rape, and toxic masculinity significantly better than I expected, but I can't say that I enjoyed it as much as the previous two novels in the series. I just wanted a little more romance and a little less angst and strife.

Nalini Singh surprised me with the darkness, emotional depth and desperation that comes through the pages of Rock Redemption.

Noah's a sexy asshat with demon that go as deep as his soul. He's a broken man. Indulging in excesses of his rockstar lifestyle that lead him on the path of total destruction.

Kit is sunshine in a darken day. Full of hope and dreams she doesn't back down from. This woman holds amazing strength and gives every bit of herself in everything she does. Kit is the true hero of this story.

Emotional, raw and dark. Ms. Singh gives the reader a pretty accurate look at what it's like to love someone with deep demons. Addiction is frustrating, confusing and ugly. Just like Kit and Noah's story. Lines are crossed, hope seems lost, and friendship is tested. Love hurts, then heals. Rock Redemption feels like real life to this reader. A high complement.

definitely a different kind of love story, full of drama, fears, pain and past hurts, but once the healing begins and these two people find their way the love is exponentially more believable than most romance novels and I found myself crying right alongside the characters as they grew and changed together. Full review coming soon to the blog.

Mixed feelings. Hard to get past really hating the guy at first but as the story continues it doesn't excuse his behavior but author does a good job convincing the reader he is working towards being worthy of forgiveness.

Do you know that feeling when you're reading a book and you just know that the story you're reading will stay with you forever? That feeling when you can almost feel the characters settling in a piece of your heart?

That's what I felt whilst reading Rock Redemption. I just knew this book was so important that I couldn't rush, I couldn't quickly read a few pages on the bus or during lunch. So I took my time and read one of my favorite stories up 'til now.

I can only urge you to read this story and open your heart to these wondeful characters. You won't regret it, you can take my word on that!

I had been waiting to read Noah's story ever since I read Rock Addiction about one year ago. Although I loved Fox and his tats, Noah kind of intrigued me. I couldn't wait to know why the demons were haunting him. So of course, I couldn't be happier when I got an ARC from Nalini Singh herself (thanks again!). I started reading and immediately got sucked into the story.

As always, Nalini wrote this beautiful story about two characters, each fighting their own demons, who fall in love. But this time was different. Noah had this selfdestructing idea that made him build a mile high wall around himself, and when he got the feeling Kit was climbing over the top and getting too close he did something he could never take back -- he broke her heart.

I normally never connect with the heroine, or have a hard time doing exactly that, but I felt connected with Kit immediately. I felt so bad for her, because she genuinely loves Noah and accepts him the way he is, despite all of Noah's attempts to change her feelings about him.

I honestly don't know how Kit found the strength within her to forgive him. I don't think I could've done it if I were in her shoes. But that's the beauty of Kit's character: she got hurt by the man she loved, but still found it in her heart to give him a second (and some) chance and to make it work.

One of the many things I loved about this book is that we got to see more of the other characters, like we did in Rock Addiction. The reason why I loved this so much, is because it makes the story more real in my opinion. Plus, it's just nice to see how the band interacts, to see that they all have each other's backs and will do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe.

Yet another wonderful love story that will make your real life expectations rise so high, no one will ever be able to meet them...
