Cute and sweet, this book tells poetry with a visual element that is welcoming, inclusive, and invites the reader to try it themselves.

This is such a unique format and I am so excited to share it with students--I think it will help introduce students to poetry that is lively and joyful but also reflective. The poems are all very succinct but that doesn't stop them from having layers of meaning that elementary and middle school students will recognize and make connections with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for poetry.
