This, is by far, my favorite Lisa Kleypas book to date. For once, this book had no hints of non-consensual interactions and the tenderness in their relationship was noteworthy. I much appreciated this pleasant change.

This was a total disappointment after I was so looking forward to West’s book. I don’t think this book gelled — there plot was muddy, the tension nonexistent, and I’m not a fan of character motivations boiling down to, “I’m not good enough for him/her.”
