A Hallmark movie but it's kinky.

didn't like:
- the missing punctuation
- how fast things happened
- Jay's character was a little everywhere, he was super sexy and hooked up with people but also had fake dinosaurs in his front lawn?

did like:
- cotton candy aesthetic
- the smut 🔥
- dual POVs
- some banger quotes
- diversity representation!
- the morals

This was one of those that felt like the perfect amount of plot and sexy.

all the feels!

This book has all of the feels while also opening you up to things you didn’t think about too. I absolutely loved Frankie and Jay, they’re definitely perfect for each other and it was fun to read about them realizing that too.

A sexologist and podcast owner needs help learning the ropes on bondage and a hot carpenter that refuses to be tied down get tangled up in knots in this steamy little novella. Extremely sex positive with great disability rep. The conversations around accessibility were pretty great. The audio narrators did a phenomenal job. Did wish this was a full length novel tho as I wish their relationship was developed a little bit more

Knot My Type
By: Evie Mitchell
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Frankie Kenton (h) is a sexologist and hosts a popular podcast, All Access. When a listener asks for advice on accessible rope play (shibari) Frankie comes up short.

Enter, Jay Wood (H) who is a carpenter by trade, but a rigger by night. When Frankie asks for advice to relay to her listeners, Jay invites her to come to a ropes course (where their chemistry is hot and immediate.)

The romance in KMT was mature and refreshing. Both characters had been burned before, but were open about what they wanted and went for it. Frankie communicated her needs with Jay - physically, sexually, and emotionally and trusted him to give it to her. Jay showed up for Frankie, giving her exactly what she needed and was honest and open with her about his past and insecurities as they came up.

There were honest conversations about accessibility and ableism but Frankie was a well rounded character with a whole lot of personality, an impressive professional career, an amazing friend-group and a full sex life. She happened to be in a wheelchair, but it definitely wasn’t the sole focus on who she was. I appreciated the research and respect Evie Mitchell put into her book, writing sex scenes that weren’t fade to black, and were spicy (made a thousand times better because they were narrated by Jacob Morgan) because, spoiler alert, people with disabilities have sex too!

Frankie and Jay were incredibly sweet together, I’m so glad I got to “meet them” in this book!
