I really enjoyed this story. I always love seeing someone go through a transformation to better themselves, especially when both parties are trying to improve their overall lives. I thought Evan was a jerk in the first book, but he was way better in this book. I didn’t like some of the aspects of the story personally, so that’s why I am giving it 3.75/5 stars. I still recommend this book and the series if someone is looking for a beach, small town vibes book!

I enjoyed this book better than the first of the series, though it still wasn’t my favorite. Honestly, there wasn’t anything wrong with this story, and I appreciated both main characters growing and overcoming what holds them back internally, but this series lacks in comparison to her others.

While I didn’t necessarily enjoy the book, it was well-written, and I can see how others would. Personal preference for it not being my cup of tea.

Yes, i stayed up until 6:30am to finish this book. And you know what? I’m not disappointed in myself for doing it, the book was too good at the 2/3rds mark to put down, i will stand by my slight lack of sleep later. For anyone wondering, Elle Kennedy’s books will forever hold a special place in my heart as they always hit the perfect spot. And when i start plotting my book character tattoo design, every single one of her pairings will be on it.
