el bait and switch had me until the very last scenes, pense q los stewards iban a ser los malos y si estaban usando las cosas del dark king para el mal pero nunca me imagine q will iba a ser el dark king, y menos q katherine y elizabeth iban a terminar siendo la lady, eso si no me lo vi venir, pero ahora viendolo de regreso hay tantas cosas q will no estaba diciendo, y como nunca recordaba a su mama mas q con la cicatriz, y james, ya quiero leer el proximo para ver q va a pasar y a ver si will les dice bc what a fucking bait and switch, no sabia si si darle 4 estrellas al libro o solo 3.75 bc im still not sure how to feel about it pero it had a fun buildup y la ultima parte con la true identity de will still left me reeling!

i really liked this. the characters felt fleshed out and i can tell it's leading to a really good slow burn romance. one of my biggest pet peeves is when fantasy authors don't commit to the high stakes, but this book did and i love that. only reason the rating isn't higher is because it felt slow at the beginning and i almost dnfed(thank god i didn't).
