Great book! Only thing that stopped this from being a 5 star for me was the writing style. I started the second book and had to dnf it, though, because the same things kept happening over and over again. I’ll try and pick it up again soon.
It wasn’t dramatic enough, I wanted more drama (and maybe there is more later on) but everything is happening too fast yet not good enough for me idk

This was such a unique Romantasy and I loved it!
First off, the world building was amazing. I really felt like I was in the kingdom of Seolia.
I loved Queen Raven's character. I felt like she was a unique female main character with abilities that really made her stand out from other fantasy books. Being thrown into this position of Queen without any sense of her background or where she came from, she took to the role with grace and pride. Some of her decisions had me scratching my head in frustration but overall a great character!
Zeke was every part the broody, grumpy heartthrob. I loved the connection between him and Raven. The chemistry was beautiful and those spicy scenes were ah-maz-ing!
Cade is a character I'm not totally on board with... he doesn't give me good vibes. His possessiveness is a little much at times. I suppose we'll see what happens as the story continues.
I absolutely loved the plot twists and the ending has left me wanting more! I cannot wait for the next one in the series!

A Kingdom of Flame and Fury grabbed me right from the start. Raven is the young ruler of Seolia. She’s hiding the dark magic within her, and then a new highly attractive stranger comes to town.
The book takes the reader on an adventure of Raven trying to find out the truth behind who she really is because nothing is what it seems. It gets quite steamy at times! But there are also these bouts of control and jealousy she’s forced to navigate.
Overall, this book is an addicting mix of fantasy, romance, and the quest to find out the truth!

Devoured this one! The love triangle had me so stressed but it made for a page turner to see what would happen. I really enjoyed all of the facets to Raven. Read this if you are a fan of love triangles, spice, a badass FMC and ✨magic✨. I absolutely love this series!!
