Ok, the bullying is crazy. And unlike zodiac where they have powers to fix when things happen to them, Tatum doesn’t.
I feel honest anger with Saint- can’t stand him and it’s going to take a lot of groveling for me to like him even a bit.
Blake has no brain and is annoying.
Kyan is a softy and I can see a huge redemption arc for him and Monroe is my fave.

This book feels like eating a bar of Hersheys chocolate. Is it objectively good? No. Did I enjoy the ride? For the most part. Would I recommend it? Only to my friends in deep need of therapy. I enjoy a dark romance but this one had quite a few areas where the “torture” was boring and just dragged on. Could have been a good hundred pages shorter to be honest.
In all fairness, I prefer fantasy to contemporary settings and the beginning was set up in such a way that suggested a supernatural element. When the villains just ended up being rich white boys on a power trip I lost some of my initial interest. Will probably read Book 2 but not sure of I will be able to finish the series.

After reading the Solaria books by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti I thought I understood dark, bully romance. Um, this one took it to a whole new level!! I almost stopped several times because the bullying and abuse got to be too much, but I also felt angry towards the Zodiac Academy boys after the first book, sooo I will stick with it.
