Tohle mě hodně bavilo, příjemná oddechovka, která je na první pohled romanťárnou, ale ukrývá v sobě i závažnější témata.

This wasn't as good as I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a five star read. I just feel like it was dragging a bit during the middle and I couldn't really get attached to the main character. I much preferred Henry than Alex (thought he was a bit selfish regarding their situation tbh). I still enjoyed it though. I really liked the concept and the original story. Would definitely recommend for a fun romance!
This book came to me at the exact right time. For 400 pages, I forgot all the bad things happening right now and the events of the novel warmed my heart. I love imagining the world where this book exists, and I want to help make it happen someday.
The book follows Alex, the son of the first female president of the United States, who has a feud with Henry, a British prince. They hate each other at first, but then they fall in love (awwwww). They have so much love for each other. Every time they had a conversation in the book, face to face or via email/text, I smiled. I didn't even just smile, I felt all warm and fuzzy.
There is also a supporting cast of diverse, well defined characters, which I love. I love that there are more LGBTQ+ characters than just Henry and Alex, and none of the characters are simply defined by their sexuality or gender. They all feel like real people. Many of them are politicians, family, and staff who genuinely care and want to make the world a better place.
The author describes this as an escapist romance, but it is so much more than that. It reminds the reader that you belong, you matter, and you are loved.

AHHH AMAZING! Super fun and very cute I loved the characters and the plot. The romance was so cute and I can see myself rereading this. I also feel like there is a character for everyone to relate to!
