It was all right. Still funny at times. I just found it overall dragging compared to the first book.

Loved the writing, liked the story, hated the ending. I read the book in the month it was published and was so mad at it for weeks that I decided never to pick up any other book by the author in my life.
I really get that marriage is not for everyone, including myself, but this was just the most unnecessary and most stupid drama I ever had to wittness. Both of the main characters were totally ruined for me because they were so immature and annoying with their complete inability to communicate and overdramatic behavior.

sometimes there's no need for a second story.
Still loved the characters from the first book but this just did't hit for me

Ah, the Alexis Hall effect of making me fall absolutely in love with a couple in the first book and then turning around and making me hate them in the next. I can’t believe I sat through all of that for those idiots to not get married anyway. I sat and stared at the wall for a bit after the ending because I’m that salty about it.
The way this book made me despise Oliver. Because why was he picking fights with Luc in every single chapter? I’ve always loved Luc, but he definitely had a lot of moments in the first book where he was being an idiot and Oliver was right to put him in his place. But in this book, it just felt like Oliver was constantly looking down on Luc and literally everything he did. The negative mood just made reading this book so hard, it was just a chore. I hated almost every second of it. There wasn’t even as much humor as the first book, and sometimes even when Luc made jokes they were halfhearted because he was being shit on all the time by everyone, but especially Oliver.
I think the heroes of this story were Bridget and Priya. They were the only ones who made this book bearable and gave me some laughs. Even Luc’s mom drove me crazy. I just can’t believe Alexis Hall tanked this series so hard this book after the first was so, so good. Ugh.
Someone please remind me when the third book of this series comes out to NOT READ IT. Although I probably will because I’m a masochist.

This was a disappointment for me as I loved the first book. Not a fan of the will they/won't they break up trooe so this wasn't for me. Glad the ending was non-conventional though.

DNF. Characters repeat same mistakes as book 1. Also characters seem to get more annoying.
