5. Thoroughly enjoyable but the ending wraps up quickly. I think this one is more for fans than to complete the series.

The full cast does a good job narrating.
slow-paced

It took me just over a month to read this book, because for the first half I couldn't pay attention.
And then, in typical Card style, the second half made it all work. And I cried. And it felt like a good bridge between the other stories.

Worthwhile read for Ender's Game fans--holds together better than the Speaker for the Dead trilogy. Most of the story is Ender's stint as the governor of a colony, which I had read in graphic novel form a couple years ago, but it was better in its full form here. I find the Shadow series and Ender-related short stories more poignant now as a parent, but I can also see how it can be pretty offputting to some folks in the consistent promotion of the view that having and raising children is the best/only way to have a lasting legacy.

While written much later than Ender's Game, this book takes place just after the events at the end of Ender's Game. If you've read the others in the Ender series, this is definitely worth picking up.

Pirmos trys knygos tai man labai patiko...

Not as fresh as Ender's Game or even Ender's Shadow but it certainly was a worthy read. Given that I have not read any of the follow up books to Ender's Shadow (yet) I was not familiar with all the tie-ins.[return]Reading this book has got me reading some ender stuff again.

Though it was significantly slower-paced than the "Shadow" series, I enjoyed this. This book was pretty much just catching up to where the epilogue of Ender's Game ended, but I enjoyed more detail on those travels. The time jumps are interesting, and I can't predict where the series will go. I didn't expect it to eclipse all five of the "Shadow" books, so I got some things spoiled for me, but nothing that I hadn't already half-expected. But I would recommend finishing the "Shadow" series before moving on to these.

Pretty good. Nowhere near as good as "Ender's Game" but a nice story cuz I like the characters/universe. Kept me engaged.
