This is the poster child for the phrase don’t judge a book by its cover. This book is weighty and fairly depressing. I do hope January and Gus find peace and healing for all they’ve been through.

This was a cute, summery story. I loved the premise of them writing each other’s go to genres. It was cool to see the research that goes into a literary fiction. Augustus and January should name their kids a month name too so everyone matches lol.
