While not my favorite book by the author, I did really like the relationship between January and Gus. They felt very real and fleshed out as characters, and their misunderstandings were not dragged out since they communicated quickly. I heard that there were different endings for this book, depending on whether you read the US or UK version and I think I would have preferred reading the UK ending. Since it makes more sense to me character and story wise.

I LOVED this book. Being a Michigan and a Veronica Mars girl - this truly spoke to me. Emily Henry is great at building up anticipation and delivering on romance!

"Just one more thing" he said soberly. "What?" "Promise not to fall in love with me."

This book! read it while commuting to and from work and let me tell you... This was such a difficult book to put down. It was amazing and unexpected and beautiful. Made me audible gasp and scream and cry.😭
