As a fan of this author, I’m a bit embarrassed to admit it’s taken me this long to start this series. I don’t even know why I was hesitant in the first place because I was captivated from page one.
It’s the ideal mix of enemies-to-lovers and romantasy.
Selene is a witch who loses memories every time she uses her magic. As a witch, that’s not something she can stop. Her ability to adapt and function despite this is admirable. However, the real intrigue comes when she awakens a cursed Memnon who believes she is the wife who betrayed and cursed him. This results in him seeking revenge against her. The way he does so is one I did not anticipate or see coming.
Highly recommend to fellow romantasy readers! However, if this one isn’t your jam, be sure to check out this author’s Four Horsemen series! It’s one of my absolute faves!!

I say it’s a solid 3 from me! Plot was meh… but I liked the banter. It as way too much of FMC and not enough of MMC. Hope second book will fix that issue. Too much unknown left with the first book.
I really loved how love hate their relationship was.
It kept me invested, and always guessing how each turn in the book would work out. I love how the author wrote and described things in this book. Overall 4 stars. Very well done
