I finished this a couple of days ago, and I'm still thinking about it. First of, I really came to like Xhex. Still not my first choice for John Matthew, but it was the one he wanted so... I skipped over most of the Reality T.V. part. Like really skipped over, this may bite me in the butt later on, but it just interuppted the flow every time! Qhuinn and Blay...oh, dear lord, whats gonna happen there? WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN THERE!!! Yum. It was good. I kind of miss the simplicity of the first books. Then it was sex and vampires. Now we have so much story to our story, which is what makes the stories good and helps continue the series (good on ya, JR Ward. Hate the Hardcover trend, but love your talent) Yet, I wanted to just sit and read about my favorite characters for hours, and sometimes the story got in the way of that. Does that make sense?
.....................................................................
I am looking forward to this book with equal parts "For the Love! I can't wait!!!!!" and "Take your time J.R. Ward, get it right"
The bad: Not loving Xhex. She's a bit to hard core for my tastes. I guess I was hoping for a Welsie type lady for John. Plus it makes me sad Xhex has no boobs.
The good: I WANT MORE QHINN AND BLAY!!!! Sorry for the caps, but I'm damn serious about that. Wow. I just tried to think of other reasons I'm excited for this book, but Quhinn and Blay are the majority.
TEAM QHAY!!!!
Just realized this book is coming out in Hardcover. Son of a bitch.

Once again, simply excellent! Love seeing all the intertwined histories come back together again.
I have to confess that I was more interested what happened to the othera, than John and Xhex. :D Shame on me.
Somehow I gotta feeling, that we haven't seen all of Murhder. Just a hunch.

I appreciated learning more about Xhex, but I couldn't fully get past the fact that she both is much older than John Matthew and she FEELS so much older. JM has a kind of naive thing going on that I didn't like. And I wish they had gotten more into his "past life" (I know that happens later, but it bothers me that it's gone on so long and no one knows or has guessed what happened)
