Excellent read. This has been one I’ve really wanted to get my hands on and I’m glad I finally got to it. While I did wish it gave more of micro scale to major scale steps we can take, it was still an empowering read that left me educated and hopeful. Her writing style is easy to read while also packed with important information. The time to point out the data and statistics is something I would expect in a book like this, but regardless was appreciated and very much assisted in my understanding. I will say as a White individual I try to continually keep things in an intersectional lens, I still had new ideas served to me and things I need to further reflect on. I would recommend to anyone!! Keep in mind this is an introductory/exploratory work and there are further reading recommendations at the end.
Docked .25 because it includes Israel as a country. This is my own personal note and I wonder what she may have included about the genocide if she had written this book now.

I was expecting a book more like chapter 5. It is important to keep in touch with different opinions. A great book for an overview of the movement.
