While the story was entertaining, I feel like the book was too long for what little actually happened in it. The last 10% of the book was definitely the most exciting. I especially enjoyed the characters and the brotherhood they share.

Product of its time

Original translation is clunky

Definitely fun, but I found the ending somewhat lacking

A classic, must read. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Would I read it again? No. Count of Monte Cristo is much better.

From the author of my favorite epic comes another famous entry into his works. Merriment and comradery abound, this story is definitely one to read if you're a lover of the classics.

LOVE Dumas. Adventure. Betrayal. Revenge. All good stuff.

This is easily one of the best books I've ever read. I had a great time reading, "The Three Musketeers," because it was so much fun.

I loved the characters.

I wish we still lived in a time where if you so much as insult my shirt, I will challenge you to a duel and kill you.

I would challenge people to duels ALL the time.

I'd be like, "You said what about my shirt? Meet me in the parking lot by the dumpster in an hour and be prepared to die."

I loved everything about this book.

I loved the Musketeers and D'Artagan. Their adventures were riveting.

The evilest villain I've read about (outside maybe Cathy Ames from East of Eden) was Milady de Winter.

Milady was SO EVIL, but also so beautiful and so smart, a part of you had to love her.

This was a great book. I've got to read more books by Alexandre Dumas.
