Enjoyed it a lot. (Was also waiting for the moment when they went off for a cheeky nandos.)

Good times !

The actual book is so different from the repetitive cliche aura of all the movies. Absolutely fantastic, daring, intense, amazing adventure!

Wasn't sure if I was going to like this book after I started reading it as it was so over the top. But once I figured out that it wasn't accidental and that's what Dumas intended I enjoyed it immensely.

I want to rate this higher but I can't bring myself to. The final third of the book was punch after punch after punch of action-packed, page-turning adventure, but I couldn't get into the first two thirds.

Was it worth the effort? Just about. Milady has quickly become a favourite literary character. I'm not sure I'm ever prepared to put the time into reading this one again, though.

Honestly this book has been a roller coaster with the number of plot twists that we get through out but overall I really enjoyed it! Definitely one of my favourite classics as of yet
