This was a really easy read, I read it all while I was going up to Sydney for an excursion. I read this book because this book is what we are discussing at book club next week.

Četla jsem pouze zjednodušenou verzi pro školy v aj, ale i tak je příběh hrozně supr. Doporučuju :) A chystám se si přečíst Alenku celou!

Konečně dočten celý příběh a pořád dávám 4 hvězdičky :) I když to bylo občas trochu nesrozumitelné, to se mi právě na tom příběhu líbí a po dočtení máte pocit, že všechno je možné :) (kromě toho dostat 1 z matematiky, na kterou jsem se měla učit ale místo toho jsem si četla.)

I adore this book. It's my favorite book. I read it. And I read it. And I read it. I have many copies of it.
Did I mention that I love it?
It is nonsense and it is deep. It is funny and it is serious. It appears daft and yet is clever. The characters are cruel and yet you can see their point of view, where they 'are coming from'.
This book is my happy.

Listened to this one instead of reading it, while driving across country. As my kids said, "This is by far the weirdest book I've ever read, but it was a lot of fun to listen to."

My dad read this to me when I was a little girl and it was fun to read it again. I hadn't realised how nonsensical it was (in a good way!). Sweet book
